Solar-Log Point Newsletter 3/2012.
There were numerous challenges in 2012 – for example, the changes in feed-in management in Germany and the increasing number of countries turning to feed-in management. The Solar-Log™ PM+ models offer a universal solution to manage feedrequirements and have won several awards such as the OTTI Innovation prize and the Solar Industry Award. The developments for 2013 and beyond require us to rethink our strategy. With lower feed-in tariffs, the return on investment arguments for renewable energies take a secondary position with more emphasis being placed on sustainability, environmental protection and self-sufficiency. And this will be the focus of our long-term solutions to ensure that PV energy is available where it can be most effectively used. However, we want to do more today and for the future. That is why we have donated part of our success to the organizations Médecins Sans Frontières, the Rotary Club and to the “Nina Leopold Stiftung”. We would like to thank you for the excellent relationship in 2012 and look forward to continuing our partnership in 2013. Yours, Thomas Preuhs
